Anne-Lise will explore the exciting topic of our microbiome and its vital role in our health and self-preservation. She will look at the wider implication of the recent findings in microbiology and make microbes relevant and easy to understand.  She will explain the  precise ways in which they control immunity and detoxification and how they regulate mood, hormones and metabolism. 

As part of the session we will take a look at various ways to deliver probiotic organisms and which strains are best to use for which symptoms.

  • The characteristics of the different microbes in our gut
  • What Gut-Brain-Immune axis really means
  • How to re-balance a damaged gut flora
  • The diferences between alcoholic fermentation and lacto-fermentation
  • The meaning of CFU on a probiotic supplement and if more really means better

  • The strain of probiotic that is best adapted for specific symptoms and needs
